Indiana is 83.6% white.

Ohio is 81.5%, Michigan is 78.5%, and Illinois is 71.6%.

All these people saying things like "My liver isn't prepared for tomorrow night" are also severely underestimating how much drinking they're going to need to be doing. It's not just tomorrow night, it's the next 14-21 days at least.

 

In the case of Michigan, the greater Detroit area. Michigan has two counties that make up a giant portion of the Democrat total here.

The greater Detroit area is double the size of the greater Indianapolis area. Also Detroit has higher black population and a big history of unions in Michigan overall.

 

And beyond that- Illinois has Chicago, Ohio has several medium/large cities, and Indiana is mostly rural.

The vast majority of Illinois outside of Chicago and a few college towns is indistinguishable from Indiana. Chicago is just so big that it pulls the whole state blue.

 

IL apparently also has a Pawnee, must not be too exciting there.
