halfway serious suggestion:

Can we get two different politics threads?

One for "WE'RE GONNA FLIP TEXAS" optimism, one for "Trump is gonna win and then we are all gonna die from covid" pessimism.

That way the people who wanna cope by go AAAAAAAAAH have a space to do so, and the people who wanna cope by projecting positivity also have a space to do so.

Crazy to think that if Biden wins Texas and Arizona he could lose the entire midwest including Minnesota as well as Florida and NC and still win the election. Obviously, that isn't likely to happen, but I guess anything is possible.
