His wage demands/bonuses/signing fees must have been crazy for Bayern to not come to an agreement with him.

Probably ends up signing for PSG.

  2. I think Liverpool will make a run at him

Wasn't he asking for £650,000 a week from Bayern? Even that was him negotiating in bad faith and will accept lower contracts from other clubs, can't see many being able to afford a wage of £300,000+ in addition to signing on fees and things.

His agent/advisor that he has hired to negotiate the deal is hated by Bayern already, so that was a bad move which has probably made Bayern be a bit more strict with their own approach - they offered him £20mil per year which was turned down!

It sucks when this sort of thing happens because there's certain likeable players that you just want to see be 'one-club' guys, and Alaba is one of them for me

    It's all hell.

    Fulham have won a match!

Thats their one for the year.

Stadio hit the Kane issue on the mark for me. It’s a difficult foul thats offensive to see a player actively hunt for, but it’s just Kane exploiting the laws of the game as they’re drawn up and he isn’t the only one that does it. There needs to be a culture change and a change to the rules more than there needs to be cracking down at an individual player, even if they’re a repeat offender.

  7. Poch says he is ready to return to managing. United are 15th in the table. What are they waiting on?

Poch at United would be fascinating to watch at this point. Bit of a flawed squad and a mess upstairs, but some crazy talented players to work with as well.

pretty wild how different this team is. for the better, imo. but we had so many cycles of the same guys and this is basically Brooks and fairly young people. fun

I really stopped giving a damn about the national team but this line up has got me back on board.

Haji Wright is the only other young guy I see missing that was on my radar for being called up.

Think he has 5 goals in 6 matches in the Danish Superliga.

Shouldn't Miazga also be up for serious consideration to start in that spot?

The fact that Tim Parker and Aaron Long aren't getting looks is criminal (this past Sunday aside), they've been fairly consistent and even more so now that Chris Armas isn't coaching them anymore.

I think he’s purposefully avoiding calling up MLS based players because of covid regs

That's fair, but I'm also saying in general that the two of them need to be looked at more.

Wednesday have won at home for the first time in 251 days. We lost 1-0 to Wycombe on Saturday, giving them their first championship win and follow that up tonight by beating Bournemouth 1-0. Go figure.
