I guess VT today went from banning one of our counties from traveling to their state to straight up banning any travel from the entire state of NH. Good for them.

Lol and a county commissioner in Northern NH is pissed that it could impact profits from ski season. Fuck off with that

After Biden wins, I wonder how much Trump will change his behavior through January, if at all, especially regarding COVID and masks and all that

  7. Oh he’s gonna be off the rails.

  8. If he loses, he really has no incentive to do anything about covid

  9. The Upshot on Today’s Polls
What we know: Biden’s lead didn’t change. Joe Biden holds a nine-point lead nationwide, according to our average. It’s the largest lead a candidate has had at this stage since Bill Clinton in 1996.

There’s been no sign of tightening since the last debate, and I don’t see any sign of it in the few polls we got Friday either. A Fox News poll showed Mr. Biden up by eight points nationally, about the same as it has shown in past polls. Two of the president’s best surveys — IBD/TIPP and Rasmussen — actually ticked toward Mr. Biden.

Most of the state polling was also pretty decent for Mr. Biden, who appears to hold a very clear lead in the states carried by Hillary Clinton plus Michigan, Wisconsin and Nebraska’s Second Congressional District. It puts him just one more bigger-than-Iowa-sized Trump-held battleground state away from the presidency. The best candidate is Pennsylvania.

What we’ll learn over the final stretch: Pennsylvania. We have had relatively few polls of Pennsylvania this week, in part because most pollsters are saving the best for last (ourselves included). But most of the polls we have had of Pennsylvania would count as good but not quite great for Mr. Biden.

  13. Wasn’t what happened. It was education weighting, and it was a relatively small miss in comparison. (If it misses the same as 2016, Biden is gonna win easily.)

I despise that he was in Rochester MN today. It’s such a lovely place and the thought of people worshiping him there, ugh lol

Also, I’m jealous. I’d really like to be in Rochester getting a damn kidney haha.

Jesus. My city had trick or treat tonight. Photos being shared around, not a mask to be seen, and parents saying how great it is that they had 200+ kids this year, "more than ever!", and comments from people saying they drove to our city for it since theirs canceled this year. Gotta love it

Where I live I expect to only have a few. I normally pass out candy at the fire station but that was cancelled. We bought a small amount of candy and we’re just gonna leave it out on the porch.
If parents are fine taking them and knowing other kids were digging in the candy bowl, its on them. I’m just not getting up all night to go be face to face with tiny germ spreaders.

I already know tons of people are going to be trick or treating in my neighborhood tomorrow which is fucking stupid because last year I got like 4 trick or treaters. But the pandemic makes people want to do things more I guess?

With things like that I do always wonder if they genuinely think that they will be greeted with some great free positive press or something. Like it’s not that that policy is per se bad or anything, it’s that they appear to think it’s so great. So the more you hype it up, the worse it looks

Shit like this is going to happen if Dems get the trifecta in the general until they all get primaried to shit

People don't realize that there is a blue supermajority in California and virtually nothing gets done. The rich rule.

If Raman doesn't win, things look very very bleak
