i still like carlins idea of building houses for the homeless on golf courses. instead of gentrifying pa's many downtrodden former manufacturing and coal towns we should degentrify the golf courses.

 

Is it normal for an ambulance to follow a motorcade? My wife is pretty sure she just drove past the Biden motorcade (he's in the Twin Cities right now) and said an ambulance (with lights on) was following it. Might be a coincidence

After the post holiday bump in covid cases, would it be too much to hope that in places where it will be cold and snowy that people will stay home for those three months and maybe numbers go down in those areas?

That and, believe it or not, the cold weather actually alters the virus' shell a little bit. The protein shell becomes more gelatin-line in colder weather and that allows it to live longer outside of the body
