i still like carlins idea of building houses for the homeless on golf courses. instead of gentrifying pa's many downtrodden former manufacturing and coal towns we should degentrify the golf courses.

  3. Is it normal for an ambulance to follow a motorcade? My wife is pretty sure she just drove past the Biden motorcade (he's in the Twin Cities right now) and said an ambulance (with lights on) was following it. Might be a coincidence

  5. After the post holiday bump in covid cases, would it be too much to hope that in places where it will be cold and snowy that people will stay home for those three months and maybe numbers go down in those areas?

  6. Yeah. They’re will be medical at all candidate rallies/travel.

i think it’s more likely people gather indoors more and spread the virus that way

It's cool that you're a wildly insecure moron but try and keep me out of the shit you spew.

Literally all I said was Gates could afford to do so, not that I think he should do so, or that it's a good idea. A lifetime of getting humiliated has you feeling on edge and that's fine, but I'd work on that if I were you. uuu'll be much happier.

We always needed a full lockdown and we never got it so now we're going to be in a semi-lockdown for quite some time and it's insane.

Iirc, one of the reasons Flu season is so bad in the colder months is because of people needing to be indoors more than in warmer weather. So... As long as people continue to be idiots, I'm thinking it'll get much worse :-/

Yep, and it fucking kills me that I can't safely see family for the holidays. Especially my grandfather who has health issues and things aren't looking great for him.

That and, believe it or not, the cold weather actually alters the virus' shell a little bit. The protein shell becomes more gelatin-line in colder weather and that allows it to live longer outside of the body

utah's goal is to have >500 daily cases. today we had our biggest day yet w/ over 2k infections. hospitals are full and today everyone got an emergency alert on their phone. had an anti mask rally down the street from where i live a few weeks back. republicans really are a death cult.

god we're gonna get both "us hits 150k daily covid cases" alongside "supreme court sides with Trump, ending PA's collection of mail in ballots and handing him a contested presidency" headlines next friday knowing our luck
