Is the busta album any good?

 

One of those Clippin songs kinda reminds me of Cage

 

I think it's pretty good, but I'm a big Busta guy. He's not trying to chase a chart topping single or anything, so that's nice. The beats wouldn't be completely out of place in his earlier work. Nothing earth shattering, but an enjoyable listen.

 

Haven't listened to the new Busta yet, but he's got a lot of the producers he worked with around 97 to 01. Plus there's a Dilla beat on there, so you know it's gonna be great.

 

The song with Kendrick is solid

Yeah, new Busta is fucking great. A few filler tracks, which is to be expected on a 22 track album. But the majority of it is solid. On some of the tracks, he even sounds about 20 years younger!
