Zac produced Becca Mancari's new album, a good amount of which deals with her sexuality, iirc. so i doubt Zac is non-affirming of LGBTQ people.

The journeys of these bands who were either identified as “Christian rock” at some point or at least tangentially tied to that scene are such an interesting case study of the mess that is evangelical culture.

Would love to see a documentary that served as sort of a research project into that 00s Christian rock scene/culture, specifically with that angle in mind. From the bits I’ve heard in interviews here & there, plus being part of that whole youth group scene forever, I know there’s a ton to mine out of all that.

Much like the conversation going on in that awful Bring Me the Horizon thread, it isn’t enough to just stop abusing people. You don’t automatically get a “second chance” because you simply stopped doing horrible things. Somebody should ask Urie what exactly has Zach done to atone for his crimes and make amends. What has he done to earn a “second chance”? Because from this end it just sounds like Urie is spouting a bunch of nonsense just so he can justify remaining friends with this guy. And that’s pretty bad!
