Salivating at even the possibility of this happening tbqhwy. Been waiting a whole fucking decade to see them and their last two shows here on the Gore tour sold out in minutes.

 

Finally got a shipping update. Should get here tomorrow!

 

Yeah got a new email, but didn’t really specify when. Just said they’re having issues, but if I ordered before Sept 30th I should have it soon.

 

I wasn't as excited about this song when the album came out because I heard it months beforehand but The Spell Of Mathematics is outrageously good; one of the best songs they've ever written.

I don't get people who don't love this band.

 

man, "smile" is such an incredible deftones tune, one of my favorites by them. would love for them to even just do an EP of the eros tracks that are the most complete

 

The riffing at the beginning of Urantia is so sick

 

This is growing on me big time. It’s not as immediate as some of their other albums and takes a bit to sink in.

 

interesting, I’m gonna say this was probably the most immediate Deftones album for me and a grower at the same time. Gore was definitely the least immediate, my last listen to that the other day was really positive tho so I think I’m warming up to that one more finally. I think it’s easier to accept some of the things about that album I wasn’t sold on initially now that Ohms exists, in a weird way.

 

I put on Obzen today at work and suddenly a lot of the riffs on this album make sense. Stephen is one with the chug.

 

I presume we should be getting an announcement about Black Stallion soon.

I gotta hear that Clams track. Then I want a whole collaboration album with him and Team Sleep/Crosses/Chino I don't care.

 

Do we know if there's gonna be any other features?

 

I think it's a different person for each song.

 

Still haven’t gotten mine....

 

I tried to go pick it up when they came out and the girl at the record store said they wouldn't be there 'til mid-october. Checked again this week and nothing. I wonder what the problem is?

 

I got a standard vinyl copy from Barnes and Nobles the week of release
