You all better not sleep on the new Sarah & the Safe Word album - it's out on Friday and it's one of the most fun records I've heard all year.

 

Damn, looks like the shorts are sold out already. I want to grab a pair of those and the lime shirt.

 

The Forgive Durden/Gatsbys American Dream vibes are strong on this one

yeah this is the kinda shit I've been looking for for a while tbh

 

the only other thing I've heard this year that sort of hits this particular sound is the Weave record

 

I didn't love that one the way I hoped to - I like it for sure but I don't find myself compelled to return to it that often :(

 

I did love it but I feel like it had some aoty-type talk around it when it came out which...I wouldn't go that far. I hope they keep working because I think they have the potential to make something really great

really dig that weave record, though i agree they've yet to hit their potential. think it was the record's production and some of the vocals that dropped a few of its points IMO.
