So I started catching up to this thread earlier this month and came back with a ton of bands to check out... and that was one hell of a ride.

I've particularly loved:

- Blood Incantation
- Spectral Voice
- Clairvoyance
- Ingrina
- Fuming Mouth
- MOL
- Krypts
- Rivers Of Nihil

On my own, I started diving into Deafheaven and Celeste and both are extremely my shit now.

On top of the sludgy stuff that's usually the kind of metal that gets my attention first, it looks like I'm finally open to more death metal and black metal (or at least blackgaze). If you guys got more recommendations in those veins, I'd be ecstatic!

And of course, thanks so much for all those discovers.

edit: I forgot to mention that after hearing some snippets in the last few pages, I'm definitely checking out Wake and Undeath next.
