I love living in Chicago (when you can actually do shit). Most of WI does suck, having lived there for 18 years. Milwaukee and Madison are fun to visit.

But I think Duluth, MN is probably the best place I’ve ever lived. Rural MN can definitely suck just as bad as WI though.

 

Yeah can’t believe people would choose anything but ocean beaches lmao


Oh wait these are three separate beaches up and down Lake Michigan

 

Oceans are also saltwater which is better than the freshwater of lakes, but maybe that's just my unpopular opinion.

 

As someone who adores beaches, this beach in-fighting and competition is just landlocked state* propaganda and you're all falling for it

*I am not including states that have Great Lakes-esque beaches as "landlocked" for the purposes of this statement and I will not be accepting critiques of this decision

It def seems like even insiders and people that know people are hinting at this actually happening when the time comes. I was still somewhat skpetical the Dems would go through with it but Im really starting to think it might actaully happen.

Hopefully they add 4 and not 2.

 

The next week+ is gonna suck... and, even if Biden still wins (which I think is still the more likely option), I’m not optimistic about future elections beyond 2020.

 

It's so radical that Roberts, of all people, wrote a separate opinion to reject it.

 

Whenever I hear the term "pack the court" I always assume it'd be in the form of adding 10-20 new justices, not 2 or 4, but yeah, that would actually be incredibly reasonable.

 

I see Twitter added a warning to the trump tweet

 

My worry is they'll stick with just 2 and justify it with the two stolen seats of Gorsuch and then ACB, but that would still leave Roberts as the swing vote aaand no thank you. I know his obsession with keeping integrity of the court will help but not THAT much.

Needs to be 4 to solidify a liberal majority. Or at the VERY least some left leaning swing votes in there.

it's weird to me that Trump + Dem Congress is lower than GOP trifecta. I guess it's just super unlikely that the Dems take senate without Biden also winning.
