I've lived in Minneapolis my whole life, and even though I'm biased, it's definitely the most cosmopolitan city in the region. All the parks & lakes make it feel so clean and nice.

Kansas City, Omaha, & Des Moines all feel fairly industrial and not very vibrant. Fargo & Sioux Falls aren't even really cities. I've never been to Milwaukee, so I can't speak to it.

Chicago is cool though (but I've only ever passed through it on my way to Tinley Park)

 

Gotta say there's no other state I'd rather live in than Colorado. Sure plenty of other states are really nice to visit and explore but I wouldn't want to live there for one reason or another
