To me, Kanye is like a worse version of Tom Delonge in the sense that I see videos of their younger, more funny, care-free self and wonder how they took such a weird, hard turn into where they’re at now.

Sounds like something good may come out of this song at least

I plan on checking it out, but there's a good chance I give up within the first 10 minutes.

He’s on the new Ty Dolla Sign album, among a cesspool of problematic artists. His feature sucks ass.

Track 6 was supposed to be on Yandhi before the full Christianity turn

I've said it many times, but Ego Death would be one of my favorite songs of this whole year is it wasn't for the disastrous Kanye verse. I wish so badly that anyone else was on the track

My friend got through an hour and said it’s just rambling but nothing controversial.

I'm 45 minutes in but I think I need to stop lol. Yeah nothing too controversial but it's just him rambling and a little all over the place. Joe can barely get a word in. But he's been pretty calm, nothing erratic.

He did try comparing the me too movement to how artists are "raped" by record contracts, which was a huge yikes moment.

Damn Kanye said something totally reprehensible that once again proves he isn’t worthy of anyone’s support? Whomst could have ever predicted. Whomst, I say.

He’s right, but the best opinion is that all Star Wars outside of maybe the first two are not worth watching

The prequels are worth watching as an example of an interesting idea with horrible execution, while the sequels are the opposite case

An even more fringe opinion: the father reveal in Empire ruined the whole series by turning a political conflict into a family drama

See the best and fringest opinion is: if you didn’t watch them asa kid and have nostalgic attachment, outside of impressive set design you don’t need to watch them ever as an adult!

To be clear, I did not see the first or second until college and moderately enjoyed them. Saw ep 1, 3 and the first new Disney one. They’re...fine! I don’t get why people get so wild about them unless it’s nostalgia

I don’t think that’s fringe at all! Up until nerd culture took over I’m pretty sure that was a very normal view to have!

I grew up in a very weird bubble where none of my friends, legitimately none, were Star Wars kids. The only person I remember being into them was my cousin. I remember pre-Star Wars prequel trilogy he told me he had a cousin (on his side) that worked for like Lucas or whatever company it was and then he proceeded to tell me the whole lava ending of Anakin and I didn’t know what the hell he was talking about and it was so vivid..and then flash forward and that’s what happened! I assumed he was a liar

The one time that “My relative works for a famous company and lets me in on their secrets” turned out to be real

I feel like everyone I knew as a kid only really liked the fighting aspect of Star Wars. Literally every kid loved playing with plastic lightsabers, and for a lot of kids it is probably one of their first big experiences with a movie that has a lot of battles/shoot-outs since it wasn’t a “kid” movie but it was PG enough for parents to be chill about it. But my assumption is that nobody ever gets falls down the rabbit hole of caring about the story or deeper lore of the series until like high school
