So, my sister who said her boyfriend's coworkers wife may have been exposed to covid yesterday..

Now he got a call from his dad who works for the same company. He had to send a woman home with a migraine. Turns out she tested positive and she KNEW she had family who also tested positive and went to work anyway, exposing the company.

I keep telling them to get tested and they fucking won't. He wants to wait for his boss's rapid test results come back first. I'm getting pretty upset that she just won't do it. Just because the boss doesn't test positive doesn't mean he doesn't have it. And that person could have exposed another co-worker who he interacts with.. who knows really? Ugh.

Our numbers in Massachusetts are not looking too horrible at the moment, but they are certainly trending in the wrong direction, and seem to be the start of a really rough period coming up. So many other parts of the country are a fucking trainwreck right now and things seem to be accelerating almost everywhere. Just spent as much money as I thought I reasonably could on Moldex N95's and 3M KN95's after looking over today's numbers. I know fatigue has set in a little bit and I've made small slips but it's time to get back to 100% discipline.

 

Hope Al Gross wins this year and gives the AK dems momentum enough to beat her.

Yeah Oregon had over 500 cases yesterday, highest since the pandemic began. Today only 400 which is still crazy high. Lots of cases from dumbasses in rural parts of Oregon too. Last two weeks has seen a big spike which I’m guessing is only beginning.
