it's fine. way too long

 

This album just reminds me of a pre-pandemic America now, as this was my most anticipated release right before everything went to hell. It was a fun listen in February, but once March came along, and then on top of that we've had an absurdly good music release year - this fell out of my top 10.

I still like it. But its probably my least favorite Tame Impala.

No major release in 2020 will be more memory-holed than this one. Feels like it came out a decade ago.

Went back to this today; still love it and stand by my review from February but it's a weird feeling to know that even an album I was that on board with - it's my favourite Tame Impala album yet - doesn't even make my top 20 of the year. Just goes to show how fucking stacked this year was.

 

This is probably my least stacked year since like... the 90s haha. So many albums held back for pandemic reasons, not a ton that came out which I've had much connection to. Still some solid records, but compared to other years? Forget about it

Every year is a good year imo but this year keeps on giving in terms of music.

I like this record quite a bit and it wouldn’t even make my top 50 lol

 

Yeah there are at least 25 albums from this year that I love, then a whole bunch that I like. A very stacked year

 

The hell are you talking about this year has been insane for new music.
