ahhhh okay kinda has a Persona 5 vibe... I can dig it.

 

Wait is Little Big Planet a platformer series? I thought it was something totally different for some reason, the demo in that video looked fun

 

Up to this point it has been a 2.5D platformer series that also has a hugely robust set of level creation tools which allow you to create and sharelevels with other players online. This new game looks to be a 3D platformer that does away with the level creation stuff and focuses on delivering a highly curated campaign experience. It’s different from the first games in the series.

 

I need some fellow nerds to squad up with in Star Wars Squadrons. I believe it’s cross platform. Anyone playing that?

I could see it maybe being on a series by series basis. Some locked away and some available with delayed DLC and things.

Yeah but that's just them honouring existing contracts. It doesn't mean anything for future plans, one way or the other.

Not surprised at all. Microsoft didn’t pay $7.5 billion just so people could play those games outside of the Xbox ecosystem.

 

He literally did everything he could to make it clear he was just answering the question as asked, he didn’t confirm that the games will be exclusive. We still have a while to wait to see what they wind up doing, clearly.

 

Still don’t think they’ll keep the Fallouts/ES away from PS5.
New IPS/Maybe something like Doom I could see being exclusive.

I could definitely see Starfield (if we ever hear anything more about it) being an Xbox/PC exclusive, but I wouldn't be too surprised if Elder Scrolls and Fallout come out on everything.

 

I mean there’s literally no way to know that right now. Not saying there isn’t a good chance it will be the case but anyone who is confidently saying they WILL be exclusive or they WON’T be exclusive is purely talking out of their asses at this point in time.

It could be just as likely that they won’t be exclusive and Phil is being coy just because why wouldn’t he be coy until the last possible minute. If he came out and said it right now, people wouldn’t buy Xboxes/GamePass subscriptions out of fear of those games being exclusive. We won’t know until they’re getting ready to launch. It would make less than zero sense to announce it right now.

 

I will play Elder Scrolls 6 on ps6 or xbox sex 2 when it comes time

Idk, I think announcing that Elder Scrolls and Fallout will be Microsoft platform exclusives going forward would sell consoles and game pass subs for sure. I honestly do not know who this situation benefits.

also from people that are much better at reading between the lines I've heard that Microsoft is using this as leverage to push some sort of GamePass access to PS5, which would honestly rule, and maybe until those talks fall through he has to be coy about it. Microsoft being able to sell GamePass subs to PS5 players would actually be extremely beneficial to them, as they lose money on every console sold.

 

I really don't know shit about this stuff but, console sales could effect what the outcome ends up being I would imagine

 

all my friends are leaning towards Xbox and it sucks frankly.
