I hate arena shows, but for Kanye I'll make the exception. I too have been to hundreds of shows but only like maybe 10 arena shows.

 

Yeah, I've been to about 10 as well (most in the early 2000s). The last BIG show I was at was Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2012 at Quicken Loans Arena. And I didn't purchase the tickets either, had someone else do it. Was lucky enough to be on the floor (although they actually set up seats ON the floor - which sucked).

Yeah, a 3 hour Kanye set would be dope. Guess we'll find out next week.

 

I was thinking the same thing. When I bought tickets I was holding out hope for Chance but then he announced his own tour. At this point I'm hoping no openers.

 

I wouldn't mind a yeezy fashion show as the "opener".

 

I was so sure that Desiigner would be opening that I actually just assumed it was true for a while but with the tour starting so soon I'm starting to think he just won't have one. Would love for Pusha T or Travis Scott to do it though

This will be my first Kanye show...typically how long are his sets? And may be a dumb question, but does he go through entire songs, or play like one verse from a bunch of different songs like a lot of rappers do live?

 

For the most part he does whole songs. Only partials here and there. Both times I saw him were for 1hr45 to 2 hours long

 

Yeezus tour sets were long, maybe 2 or 2.5 hours? Mostly full songs.

I made the mistake of attending a T-Pain show last night and it was such a fucking joke. He played 1 minute clips of each song, barely sang at all over the backing track of each one. No hype or front-man-ship whatsoever, just a pathetic show.

The whole time I was just thinking how much better Kanye is going to be.

 

Shit I can't believe I'm going to this one week from tomorrow.. that came up so fast

 

I don't follow Kanye at all but I just checked Snapchat and he had a pop up shop at a mall in the suburbs of Northbrook on Friday.

 

Travis Scott is headlining my college's fall fest 9/10 with Lil Uzi so it's unlikely he's on this Kanye tour

 

Just looked at Pusha T's upcoming tour dates and they suspiciously end right before the tour starts

It's probably a stretch by now but it would be so dope if he opened

 

If Pusha opens, I will be sooooo happy.

If this ends up being Frank and Kanye the tickets were worth every penny without even attending the show.

 

I would kill for it to be Frank but I really don't see that happening
