That guy sucks an incredible amount of ass. "Six" is a banger though.

I was always partial to Shadows Fall of those early 2000's metalcore bands.

To be fair, it HAS been a while

 

their peak of popularity feels So Far Away

 

I gotta hear So Far Away at work over the radio every day and it’s awful

 

"Mudshuvel" was my favorite song on NHL. Hitz 2002

 

Cmon now, why do you guys have to drag Staind’s name through the MUD and SHOVEL dirt all over it.

 

Guess that’s the Price to Pay.

 

Aaron Lewis feels that as you get older you have to be more conservative (or something like that)

I'm still mad I missed that show. Would have been really cool to see, particularly at that time in their careers.

 

Staind has never put anything out redeeming. At least Godsmack gave us the thing that made The Scorpion King age less terribly.

 

Godsmack, for all their flaws, sure do know how to write some sick riffs.

Or you could be Flaw, the band that can’t write any of their own riffs!

 

I had terrible taste in music during high school and I'm no stranger to Staind and Flaw lol

 

That's not completely fair, because I'm sure some of the original members wrote some of those early songs, but since Chris can't seem to keep bandmates around, and has no songwriting ability of his own, he's apparantly stealing other peoples stuff now.

Dude can sing though, and I still have a soft spot for those first 2 records, and the Five.Bolt.Main record.

 

I should probably post it in the numetal thread, since everyone here will probably think less of me, but I have LOTS of turn of the century (lol) nu-metal autographs, setlists, picks, etc... including a copy of Flaw's Through the Eyes signed by the band.

I will say they were very good when they opened for Life of Agony.

 

but yeah, fuck those clowns for stealing music now... and I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but I saw Flaw in like 2008 or something and Chris was livid about something, fighting with the sound guy, refusing to perform (probably drunk) - The rest of the band looked extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed but did their best to play the show. They did 5-6 songs instrumentally and the crowd sang. Strange night.
