The Alchemist has an album out today. I only know him from his work with Freddie Gibbs, so I’m interested to hear his solo stuff

Then I think it’s that one. YouTube Music has it on the top of the list under new releases.

Ah ok. He's got a fair few lined up for the next month or two though if I remember correctly. Producer of the year by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar.

Anyone else think Sean sounds kinda off beat on the new Benny and Wayne song? Not feeling the flow at all. Benny and Wayne killed it though.

Pretty disappointed by the Headie One record off first listen. Mostly just sounds like the same thing over and over. The variety of the tape with Fred again.. is definitely missed. Hope it sticks more with time but feels like he found one formula and repeats it over and over again.

First time hearing that track with Drake too and that's probably the most washed he's ever sounded? The fake, clipped British accent is so embarrassing and he can't replicate Headie's flow for shit.

After the Murder Inc. offices were raided by the cops for the first time, Def Jam pressured them to take the Murder out of the name. From The Big Payback:

“It had to be Murder Inc.”, Lorenzo [Irv Gotti] had said. “We make hits, get it? Number one with a bullet, get it ?“

20 years ago I downloaded, burned to a blank CD and printed out a custom label for a one disc best-of Rule 3:36 and Pain Is Love. It was honestly hit after hit after hit.
