Come Heroine is the early stand out. The Envy vibes are strong on this one.

 

I am absolutely loving the aggressiveness.

 

it's my album of the year - I'm glad everyone is digging it! I hoping to have the review up tomorrow but I also have a track by track convo with Jeremy going up on Apple Music too this week so I'll make sure to share that as well.

 

On first listen, I'm absolutely loving it. It's consistent as hell.

 

I love the naked honesty of the lyrics in the closer, especially paired with the instrumentation and the vocal delivery. As hokey (not sure if that's the right word, but it's the one that comes to mind) as it can seem on the surface I think it all comes together perfectly.

 

I absolutely love this. AOTY for me, I think.

 

15 seconds into Come Heroine and I am already fully on board.

 

“Reminders” definitely sounds better in the context/flow of the record. I still think it’s one of their weaker songs because of the chorus but I don’t dislike it as much as I originally did.

 

Yeah, this record is incredible. I was hoping for Deflector to be a little more different since that song has been out for over a year now but hey... that’s literally my only nitpick.

Love this record and can’t wait for my vinyl copy to arrive!

This album is really solid, but Reminders is by far the weakest track. It's never going to grow on me. I'm probably going to take it off of the album. I actually think it flows much better when taken out.

 

I’m going to give this a listen tonight or tomorrow. I’ve enjoyed the three singles I’ve heard. I also played drums to “Reminders” earlier today and that was a blast.

 

I love reminders. Can’t wait for the full album

 

Might fuck around and stay up for the record release show livestream that's 2am Tuesday morning my time. Might continue to fuck around and get the /300 record release show variant of the album they're selling there too?

 

I'm so excited to listen to this tomorrow. Only listened to "Limelight" and "I'll Be Your Host" once each. Really want to just get through the whole thing at once

yeah. interesting perspective. i don’t really feel like that’s the vibe i get hearing it though. it feels much less rushed and more fully realized than their other albums imo.
