  1. This would be correct.

  2. I think the chorus is super fun, and it's great to sing along to. Not to mention Matt's parts are pretty awesome. It's just a fun skater punk song.

I mean, semantics, really doesn't change the meaning of my post

Eh, you used it being a single as support that they tried to make it a fan favorite. It's not merely semantics. Releasing it early could have multiple motivations, not necessarily being a fan favorite.

How did they "try way to hard"? they thought it sounded like old blink and thought the fans would love it. I personally think it's great. It's a fast / pop punk song. They don't even play it live and didn't release it as a single...

I just watched that 60 second Travis interview and all the comments were supporting rice gum and dissing his daughter what the fuck

For the record, a pre-release track =/= single

"What do you do on your day off?"

    Travis: Working.

    "What bores you to death?"

    Travis: Working.

Seconded. I also think TOTTM is super underrated. Both remind me of more polished Dude Ranch-era tracks. They make me feel 13 again.

Unpopular opinion, but I think my least favorite track on the record is probably Bored to Death. Teenage Satellites a close second, but that's tough because it has such a catchy chorus.

Don't get the hate for the title track, those vocal melodies are probably the best on the record. Learning Martin from BLG co-wrote it was not surprising in the least.

I just gotta say, I went to the Barclays show last night and it was fucking wild. Going to the Mansfield show tomorrow and I am even more excited for the2nd go around

Always do the right thing. Supporter

I find the title track unbearably cheesy and saccharine, mostly because of the lyrics, the worst entry on a lyrically weak album. Sonically I have no real issue with it and find it pleasing in ways, but I just don't enjoy listening to someone sing "Living in the perfect weather, spending time inside together".

My least favorite track ever by blink including flyswatter. I don't know what they were thinking. It def. reminds me of that weeds theme song with the "beige little boxes in a row" or w/e I don't know how Mark/Matt weren't embarrassed to release that song.

Anyone in here that got a VIP pass and has already gone to the show want to give me the timeline?

I have a Feeling This Package for the Sept 9th date in Chicago. I haven't received any information yet, did you just get an email with an itinerary? I just want to know what time I'm going to have to be at the show by for the soundcheck and shit..

Anyone with info let me know or PM me!

I think there's an underlying sense of melancholy to that line that, even though the words themselves are kind of clumsy, expresses the sentiment in a nice way. I don't know!

Just saw the set list: blink‐182 Setlist at Barclays Center, Brooklyn

Now that I can get behind. Sub out Violence and Down for 2 more California songs (or Here's Your Letter?!?) and it'd be perfection. Sounds like an awesome show. Seeing them in a few weeks in Saratoga and can't wait.

Agreed. I think it reads even better if there's a "but" in between both of those lines. Honestly, of all the cringe worthy lyrics in the Blink catalog, this is the one we have issues with? Haha.

  19. ugh. play something else besides "kings of the weekend" every night! there are at least 10 better songs than that one from California, haha.

I was a bit scared the first time I heard it. But I'm fine with it now

TBH I'm not sure why people are skipping songs. Blink is one of those bands that you don't really need to, there's no interludes or anything in this. And the joke songs are so quick there's no point making the effort to skip.
I reckon year 2016 short attention spans are in full effect. There an ADHD EPICDEMIC!!!

I tend to agree but it sounded good in a live setting

  22. it may sound good, but still, i think it's weird that that's one of the 3 or 4 California songs that they've left in almost every night. i don't know why they aren't switching that one out with SOOHM or Rabbit Hole some nights.

Even though they are deep cuts I would actually be happy if they replace Dysentary Gary and Reckless Abandon with two California songs

Seeing these guys in Hershey in just over a week and I'm super pumped. I already saw them in June in Bethlehem, PA so seeing them twice in one summer is so surreal for me.
