We’re a fuckin wildcard to be fair. I could see us finishing literally anywhere between 3rd and 10th.

    hmmm

I too could see you finishing 10th.

If you were wondering how top caliber players were leaving left and right for a free... this explains a lot. It freed up an immense amount of salary space.

If work gets slow today, I'm gonna verbally process my thoughts on everything now that it's finalized. I've been thinking about this transfer window/first few games of the season A LOT haha.

  4. Besides my obvious bias, the reason I have Spurs so high is because of our depth and Mourinho. We have such a big squad right now. I can't believe we brought in so many players without really selling. I think a tactical manager like Mourinho is going to be able to set up the team however he wants every game and have no issues with rotation for cup games.

I thought we would be closer to 10th than 3rd last season. Same thing this season.

It's even more difficult to predict this season. I'm not even going to try tbh.

Do you think Ole will make it through the season? If no when do you see him being sacked?

    @fangclubb Prestigious

Same. Everyone but Everton and maybe Spurs look a bit shit.

I didn’t think he’d make it through last season. I don’t think he’ll make it through this season either. He’ll probably get sacked just after the point where our season can be saved.

Rooting for the entire season to just be a Merseyside derby where the blue team wins.

Haha. Looking at our upcoming schedule we have Newcastle this weekend but after that it’s PSG, Chelsea, RB Leipzig and Arsenal. A let up with Istanbul Basakehir and then Everton. Could be 4 straight Ls there.

I’d love if Everton could pull it off but it would be another indictment of Ed and how our club is run. They got a top manager in and have backed him.

Is Poch the best manager who is currently not managing anybody? I’d assume so but have no idea really.

have to imagine so since he’s one of the top 5 in the world regardless

(you can't be top 5 in the world if you never won anything)

  20. JM95

    hmmm

He's not even close to being top 5 in the world. Very good coach but come on.

I love Poch but yeah, top 5 in the world is a stretch. He's the best available coach right now, and is very good though and would be an upgrade for plenty of teams.

I would love to see Nagelsmann not end up at Bayern.
