Couple this with reports that Go to Home transfer is going to be behind a coins paywall and battling is currently broken to the point of being unplayable and it almost seems like Niantic is trying to kill their cash cow.

But hey, Shedinja will be in research boxes...

Just save them for when you can send them to Pokémon home. I actually need a lot of Pokémon to complete my Pokédex so I wouldn’t mind taking some, including extra shinies since I’ve only done a few community days.

 

I have plenty of extra shinies for you and whoever wants them. If you can figure out a way to trade, they’re yours haha

Does anyone else feel like there are fewer active players?

This is the third week in a row where there are only 2 - 3 people for a raid (I haven’t had a raid with more than 5 players for at least 10 raids). It was never like this until last month.

 

I don’t play consistently anymore, there’s never anything to look forward to.

 

lol I live in "not big city Florida" and I've literally only seen a random person in a raid *once* before, and that's been in three different cities :(

 

RIP to getting enough mega energy to mega evolve Pidgeot at this rate

 

I've played less lately because all the new things turn around Mega Raids, which I don't give a damn about. Also all the 5 star raids are legendaries that have come back numerous times and have been shiny for 2 years so a lot of people don't care about them. I'll probably do more raids for Giratina.

 

i don't think the Mega raids addition excited anyone. whenever there is a new legendary, i have no problem going around my town finding multiple groups of 5-10 ppl doing raids, it just seems like nobody at all cares about the megas, or they feel no rush to do it since there is no real benefit to doing it. also, i just do not understand why they keep bringing back the birds. if you want to recycle legendaries there are SO many others you could do by now. they just keep going back to the birds, and i fully expect to see lugia and ho oh again in the coming weeks.

i can understand that they reach a point where they want to buy themselves a few months before they release a new gen or put out new legendaries, but whenever they do their 'filler months' it makes me want to play less and less.

 

This is pretty much be but with raiding in general. I never really raid at all unless I could do it by myself and just randomly happen upon it. But it seems like all these events are just about raiding
