Have any show revivals been good other than Twin Peaks and the Deadwood movie?

I was assuming you would say Wet Hot American Summer.

 

I feel almost oversaturated with them. They were very funny, but obviously couldn't capture the brilliance of the first one. I almost feel like revisiting the characters made me like the first one a little bit less

The Seinfeld "reunion" via Curb Your Enthusiasm was very clever, even if it was just a taste.

Home Improvement was never particularly good, so it is not as if there is anything to ruin.

Today I learned that George Lucas was originally supposed to direct Apocalypse Now. My brain shot down a rabbit hole of what-ifs after that.

 

Apocalypse Now broke Coppola and he never recovered. It is an incredible film but how many other great films did we not get as a result?

 

If it broke Coppola can you imagine what it would've done to Lucas though

 

Lucas' response to the hardships in filming Star Wars was to let other people do the real work and swim in the money made from licensing lunch boxes and action figures. One of the laziest directors, but a brilliant businessman.

 

Coppola almost murdered multiple people including Harvey Keitel and we're just like hey it's a classic movie
