That 2017 album had “Bad Things” with Camila Cabello which was massive. Other than that, his first three records are just Wild Boy Part 1, 2, and 3

  2. This album is the first time I've knowingly heard any of MGK's music, so this is really all I know him for. Well, this and his guest appearance on Catfish.

Never listened to him before... saw some interesting takes on the new album so gave it a shot and... really like this. It's fun. Can definitely tell Travis is drumming and had a big part of production on this.

From Bloom I still listen to Go For Broke and 27. Looked at the tracklisting for the first two and didn't see any songs I remembered liking. I guess Sail and Swing Life Away were on mixtapes?

Musically there's some fine enough pop punk song structures here, but his singing voice is not good. Sounds mostly like a high school pop punk singer from your local garage doing their best impression of their favorite bands.

This is really awesome. Never really listened to MGK at all before he started releasing stuff from this album. I do think that there is a lot of overlap with the melodies from song to song, so some more different melodic ideas could have made it even better, but this is still a really really solid album.

Only listened through completely once so far but the standouts to me appear to be title track, bloody valentine, concert for aliens, and forget me too. Not a bad song on here though, all of them are very enjoyable.

He just posted on his Insta that the deluxe version is dropping tomorrow. Wondering if we’ll get that Used collaboration.

Wow that was quick. Wish he'd announce a vinyl pressing!

I can't stop listening to this. I keep getting new favorites, right now I'm really into WWIII. It sounds so much like old school Blink.

Does deluxe dropping that early help effect charting or is that already settled?

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

I think it would help since we’re still in the first week. Smart move to do this midweek.

Thought they'd push Forget Me Too as a single because of the Halsey feature but sure

Interested to see what's on the deluxe

Sounds like a video is coming for that too.

It would be really dumb of them not to push Forget Me Too as a single.

    Two other new bonus songs:

I honestly like these bonus songs more than most of the album. And I love the album.

I’m seeing another one “can’t look back” too on Apple Music. 4 new tracks!

Really digging body bag and the extra bonus songs. I think body bag further confirms YUNGBLUD sounds like a younger Bert. Album now feels more complete to me with the extra songs.

The guitar bridge in hangover cure sounds straight up blink 182 Neighbourhoods to me. Does anyone else hear that?

Those extra songs on the deluxe make this album even better. Glad the deluxe is out so soon after the initial release!
