It's like you read my brain. I had so much anxiety I stopped doing it lol

 

I stopped doing it cause after a handful of days and only 1 match, it just started to be another thing confirming to me that I wasn't going to find anybody. Ended up having the opposite of its intended effect.

 

I deleted it after two days. It felt way too unnatural, just not for me at all.

 

Yeah the process of making a snap decision based on a couple pictures and sentences felt weird. I felt like it made the other people seem like commodities to collect, like trading cards, rather than partners.



Maybe I just felt that way cause nobody wanted to hold onto my rookie card that year to see if it's value appreciated haha

Yeah I think that's more or less how I see most dating apps and I don't know how to feel about it. I try not to spend a lot of time chatting on them and instead just ask if they'd rather get to know one another in person. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and that's fine, the conversation usually stops there.

 

This explains why I was so confused.

 

I swiped right on everyone on Tinder as an experiment to see what the general snap reaction is to me.. Let's say it's not very great.

 

3-4 quality photos and a non-creepy bio should at least get you a handful of decent, compatible results after about a week or so. Now, after you match is another story.
