I like when bands do this. Now I wish every Menzingers album had a companion like this

Honestly this version of Anna may propel the song over ‘Casey’ for me.

Really love most of this, but don’t really care for this version of America. Much prefer the original.

The new version of this is absolutely perfect. I love the original, but this is immediately better.

Also, to go back to an old conversation, Rented World isn’t just my favorite album by them, it’s maybe top 10 albums, period, for me. I just couldn’t love it more.

It feels like they tried to make the original lyrics work with the music of America (Part 2) which doesn't really gel.

Damn this version of HE is incredible, giving me some Lord Huron vibes for some reason?

I think the George Floyd version of America is always gonna be my favorite

I was at their last full band show at the Croxton in Melbourne mid-March. Strangest most surreal feeling in the room, so much unknown but so much unity.

These versions of the songs rule, btw. Last To Know is my favourite on the album, and I love this version so much more than the original.

    Also:

    OTIP
    ATP
    HE

I love a bunch of songs from the other 3, but find myself only seeking out those songs to listen to, and never going for full album listens unlike the above 3. Coal City Blues and Victory Gin from ALITAOIT are gold though.

Definitely going to put together a combo album of this. I really wish they’d put America Pt 2 on streaming services.

It’s just to have the full album of the alt or revisited versions of the song. Frank Turner did this Positive Sings For Negative People, Manchester Orchestra for Cope (Hope) and Yellowcard has done a few. I still listen to them frequently and From Exile will be no different.
