It’s all about MGK for me today (never thought I’d be saying that) and will also check out Slick Shoes and Mat Kerekes.

Ridiculously loaded day after so many quiet weeks! Excited for all of these ones:

    - The Menzingers - From Exile
    - Jamie Lenman - King of Clubs (ex-Reuben singer)
    - Deftones - Ohms
    - Sufjan Stevens - The Ascension

I'm curious about Slick Shoes and Idles. I'm also going to check out Machine Gun Kelly as that song he has on Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2 is pretty catchy.

Jamie is probably my favourite British songwriter of the last two decades but this new one feels too much like a retread at the moment. Like I've heard him pull off a lot of these songs multiple times before.

King Of Clubs is my standout on first listen.

I'll be giving the new Sufjan Stevens album a spin, but I have to admit the whole pre-release interview cycle has me bracing for an odd, frustrated listen.

Cue the Keanu Reeves "whoa" meme for this stacked release day...

I'll be checking out these new releases:
The Neighbourhood - Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones
    Deftones - Ohms
    Sylvan Esso - Free Love

Also, just released yesterday is LPX's new 3-song EP Called "My Best." For those unfamiliar with the project, it's the same singer as MS MR.

    Happy listening!
