I'm expecting good things. The songwriting was definitely there on last record.

This guy grew up in my town and I used to play in bands with his brother. Pretty solid dude and is sincere with his activism. Kinda melancholic, but who isn't these days?

 

Does that mean 1-5 hours? Days? Weeks? Months?

 

one can only hope. adore the songs on brokenlegged but never wanna return to it bc it sounds so unfortunate

Stunning song. Much better production too.

 

I would call this album very different from Brokenlegged, it feels far more intimate and more like an indie singer/songwriter album. Early Death Cab is a pretty good reference point, and a lot of this is kind of...slowcore?

it's really good, and nobody should worry about the production this time

 

Recorded in Silsbee and produced/engineered by Tommy Read...is that Hannah Read (Lomelda’s) brother? I know Caleb said to me that she was helping with the record so I’m assuming it must be.

 

tbh I kinda feel like broken legged (and profanity to an extent) were aberrations for the band. at heart it's always been Caleb's project rather than a rock band

 

Fucking gorgeous song. This is one of 2020's most beautiful records, no sweat.

 

Anyone know who is putting this out since Tiny Engines isn’t a thing anymore?
