I'll be seeing him at the Target Center tonight, would've been wild to catch him at Acme though!

 

Ooo I did not realize he was already at Target Center, that makes more sense. I still feel incredibly bummed that I missed this

 

I'll do a little plug for Lake Monster's free comedy showcase since we're on the topic. Lake Monster Brewery does a little show on the first wednesday of every month and it's always a good time. Some of the comics are better than others, but it's hard to beat good beer and a free show. My friends and I have been to it every month so far since it's right down the street from us. There's one tomorrow, so we'll be there! Also, there's a Pokestop right outside if that's of interest to anyone haha.

Also, I may as well post the latest episode of our pizza review show. This week we went to Dulono's in Uptown and had a blast. I definitely recommend it!

 

So how was Louis?

 

I thought he was great. We were in the upper deck and there was water dripping on us so we went to guest services and they moved us down to the lower level so that was really cool. The show itself was dark and hilarious, pretty much exactly what you'd expect from Louis at this point. I thought he would maybe have the set be a little shorter since he had to go to Acme to perform right after, but I think his set went for ~90 minutes which actually may have been a bit too long. Just my opinion though. I felt like i got my $25 worth and then some, that's for sure.

 

There were 3 openers at Acme so he wasn't rushed. Went on at 11 I think. It was amazing

 

Mostly moved in. It's hot as balls. Similar temp to where I'm moving from but feels way worse for some reason haha.

 

Humidity?

 

Certainly doesn't help but I'm coming from southern Wisconsin which has been pretty similar for humidity. I think it's just psyhosomatic.

 

yeah i sold the festival tickets and got a good amount for them. this is my first weekend in my new place so the money is going to things i need around the house. haha.

Hahaha hell yeah man! We have lots of fun making them so it makes me happy that other people enjoy them too.

 

went to anchor for the first time last night in NE, reasonably priced fish & chips, loved it.

 

I tried Q Fanatic (60th and Nicollet) last night and it was sooooo dope

 

This place rules. Glad you enjoyed it. Great atmosphere and some of the most pleasant staff in town.

Oddly enough, they were just featured on a list titled something like 'the 10 most surprisingly great burgers in minneapolis' in City Pages. I can speak to that.

 

Makes more sense to ask in here than the Tour Forum, what shows coming up for everyone? Debating going to Fall of Troy/68 tonight if my sleep schedule allows.

We should have a monthly update on stuff, not necessarily what YOU are going to, but what is happening in the area.
