I enjoy the all over the place music taste

 

Got the remastered Sgt. Peppers from my sister for my birthday.

Haven't had a set-up in years, but once I close on my place, getting a U-Turn Orbit.

 

Haha I don’t have a single one of the records you’ve got in your collection. That doesn’t happen very often.

 

wild lol. it’s not like i’m hoarding a bunch of zappa or non-extremely mainstream stuff haha

 

I know haha. That’s what’s so funny to me. But I actually did have Highway 61 Revisited but an old roommate ended up “borrowing” it and I haven’t seen it since.

I guess I just listen to Hall & Oates and Mike Kinsella projects a lot more than you do, haha.

i got the ace album. that was very, very quick.

 

I know It sounds stupid, but it saved me from buying a lot of junk that would have been fun throwing on once, maybe twice, and then just sitting around. These are $3 or $5 records most of the time, let 's say, but if you buy one or two records every time you shop, it adds up. I suppose it's like your law of 'quality over quantity'.

To fund my record-buying, I flip records. I don't think it's a negative thing to do and I generally do it on the basis of my vinyl cutter business experience. I don't look up stuff or something on my mobile. I'll make sometimes $5 or something. Typically, it is not a big deal, but it can make the hobby a lot more fun!

Is that the 10 year anniversary? I have it also. Love the alternate artwork.

 

I don’t think either are explicit anniversary pressings, but the Clarity liner notes do note some remastering. It’s black vinyl and I saw on Amazon a yellow/gold variant review.

 

Yeah that’s right. The anniversary edition had this artwork. It’s been a year or so since I’ve listened to it...need to remedy that.

 

Matchbox Twenty has a preorder up for a vinyl boxset of all of their albums. Limited to 5000 and it looks like there are around 400 left on their site so heads up for anyone interested!

I just got a Grayscale test press that no one outside of the band or label has, so I’d say that’d have to be the one.

 

My Dashboard Confessional Unplugged arrived today! Shocked at how fast that was.

I've probably gotten 50 new records over the last 3 weeks that I need to catalog and stored but I ran out of shelf space so I finally went out and bought a 4x4 kallax from ikea today lol

Absolutely, an annoying process especially when looking up older records that have been pressed tons of times.
