I just don’t see MS gatekeeping the big guns, it’d piss too many people off that they need. Plus, Minecraft is a solid example of MS owning something and allowing it exist on non-MS platforms.

If I had to guess, I think future Fallout and Elder Scrolls games will remain multiplatform. Starfield is the big one that I could see being exclusive to Xbox/PC. That said, I could also see that exclusivity only lasting for like a year. MS is obviously very willing to put their games on other platforms after a timed period of exclusivity. Hell, it's barely been six months since Ori 2 came out and it's already on Switch.
