My battery was fine on the beta but all of a sudden it’s tanking

 

I have an 11 Pro and my battery has been fine so far.

 

Check to see if your media is redownloading. I wasn’t exaggerating when I said I had 42k photos. For some reason it’s been redownloading the photos. The first day that killed my battery but it’s been fine since

 

I have an 11 Pro Max and don't use iCloud for much, and I haven't noticed anything different about the battery in the beta or current release.

 

Check background app refresh settings. The update turned that on for all my apps and it was killing my battery as well.

 

Trying to move over my 1password info from my old Mac to my new one, but it doesn't appear it's possible since i bought a license for 6 and now only 7 is supported on the new Mac. Does anyone have any experience trying to do this? I'd rather avoid having to pay the monthly subscription.

 

What OS version is on the new Mac?

 

Catalina, old one is Mojave (don't have space to install Catalina there)

Is there a way to confirm if your Face ID is busted? Have an iPhone X and it randomly stopped working entirely yesterday. I'm trying to reset it totally and it just keeps saying move it lower...higher...lower...higher...and never actually setting up.

 

Last time I went to the Genius Bar they ran a Face ID diagnostic on my phone. It was run directly in the Settings app, but from what I understand it’s not user-accessible. I believe they can run it remotely if you call/message support though

apple music question:

before the new iOS update, some albums had like, liner notes and interviews with band members - i can't seem to find those now, are they no longer a thing?

 

I still see all that under the artwork ...

 

oh wait.....i see it when i'm in the artists profile on apple music, but not when i access the album in my library.


weird.

 

they still are a thing - they only show up when you browse for the album and click in that way - once you add it to your library I think it's gone? I dunno it's weird.
