  1. It’s really hard to watch Woodley. I don’t get it. He just doesn’t even try to be offensive.

Met them in the same day and cursed them both. Smh. Maybe I should go back to my now-10-year-old pic with Hendo.

Woodley fucking sucks. Incredibly frustrating to watch.

    You had one job...

This was even the case when he was the champ. All this talk about his last 3 fights being incredibly disappointing, but the only fight he’s “won” since beating Lawler is Till. Any other W’s were simply “didn’t lose” rather than win. I’ll be more than happy to see the back of him.

And before that honestly. Haha. He had some strange performances against Shields, MacDonald and Gastelum to a certain extent. He is truly a strange mixture of being incredibly skilled and athletic while also having an enormous psychological hangup of being scared to engage.

If you really look at all his wins, nearly all of them are wins against specialists (WB, Maia, Till and even Lawler). The guys who are well-rounded and present threats of takedowns + great striking always leave him puzzled. High volume striking + wrestling tends to get him the worst.

I don’t know why people find it hard to believe Woodley can lose 3 straight after being a dominant champ who got dominated. He was amazing on his rise, he’s 38 and fighting top guys while trying to play it safe so he doesn’t keep dropping in rankings. It’s happened to others before. I don’t think he needs to retire he needs to find his confidence again and break that mentality. Saying he sucks is inaccurate.

Colby is an actual human trash bag and I cannot believe he spewed that ignorant, racially charged bullshit in his post-fight interview. I refuse to positively discuss any part of his MMA career from here on out.

I turned it off before Colby’s post fight interview because I didn’t want to hear his shit. By the sound of it I made a very good decision.

Its absurd that he would dare say that stuff about Woodley of all people as if he’s just jumping on a trend. A guy from Ferguson, Missouri that’s obviously seen all of this stuff firsthand his entire life.

Not surprised. A lot of the white UFC fighters are big Trump guys. It’s super disappointing.

  13. So Nick Diaz is claiming he is going to fight in early 2021

Dana claims he has something exciting for Conor in early 2021

Is it as simple as putting these things together and expecting this to be the fight?

  15. His rise is very similar to Garbrandt tbh. Except he has a little bit more hype.

  16. I would like to see Thompson get back in the mix at the top. A win like this would do so.

Wonderboy will forever be a favorite of mine and was praised for some time before a his loss to Pettis. Kickboxing legend, and one of the most elite strikers in UFC history. He seems to only fight once a year now, which is unfortunate but I understand he’s getting older, has to be smart about a global pandemic, and probably isn’t looking to fight 3 times a year anymore.

Yeah Wonderboy is great, and I think he could always get the belt given the right circumstances. Definitely one of the best fighters to have never held UFC gold.

It's weird, but he's like the one fighter where I excuse all of his losses. haha. I thought he beat Till and Woodley (in the rematch), and I still think he is a much better fighter than Pettis despite the result of that fight.

    I'd be down for Edwards/Thompson.

The Pettis fight was a real head scratcher. The Till fight was so garbage too. Till misses weight by a lot and gets the gift decision.

Yeah Till has an awkward stance and was very imposing I feel when he was in the octagon with Welterweights. Stephen held back that fight for sure as well. The Pettis Superman punch had my jaw on the floor. Felt like when I watched Wonderboy KO Whittaker.

That Pettis fight was the only one where I actually felt like I just watched some beat Wonderboy. Like, I know Matt Brown beat him fair and square back in the day, but it still felt like he was really just doing everything he could to avoid standing with him. haha.

Honestly, I would have been stoked if they would have given him the nod over Tyron in the rematch, but neither guy really even fought in most of the rounds so I definitely didn't complain.

  22. Looks like they tried to find someone else in the top 10 at WW for Chimaev and nobody was willing to take it aside from Maia.

I’ll never completely rule out Maia, but I’m hoping he doesn’t get absolutely smashed and maybe loses a decision.

  25. His hype train is already out of control. If he demolished Maia (which he might because Maia is getting up there in age) it’s gonna be unreal.

He’ll go from unranked in that division to probably almost top 5.
