Yeah, me neither, kind of OCD about it, haha.

I have all my smart lights done through Alexa but I can’t get them into HomeKit which sucks

I just hate how expensive smart lighting is, especially RGB lighting. Nonetheless, I’ve invested, ha.

  4. I rely on the switches, instead of individual lights, so that all the lights (they're all LED now) in the place work.

If anyone is looking for a setup, I have nothing but praise for Caseta: https://www.casetawireless.com

Has it been said, or is it known if eventually widgets will be interactive from the Home Screen? So like if you had a music app widget on your Home Screen there could be a “now playing” one where you can skip tracks and pause without having to go into the app?

  7. Yeah, the new now playing screen is great on Apple Music though. Not sure I need "Listen Now" and "Browse" and "Radio" though.

They really just need to make a "Now Playing" widget for the home screen.

  9. Right now they're using something like watch complications, so they're checking in every few minutes and are set using basically a timeline. So interactivity on that level probably won't come for a while. (It's to save battery.)

I think I like that they're not interactive. For me the widgets have always been about seeing information at a glance, not necessarily interacting as though they should be mini apps. I think that's part of what makes me like the stacked widgets even more; Just being able to swipe through info at a glance. I appreciate being able to quickly log things via the shortcut widget, but that's different. They would also say you have the lock screen and control center if you want to get interactive with your media controls.

Rad, sounds like at the least I could program a shortcut to say "Hey google, turn on X light", though a toggleable button would be preferred. Thanks! Not sure if it supports Homekit, I'll have to do some digging. I use C By GE bluetooth bulbs with a GE smart outlet to link them up on my wifi network

    EDIT

Dunno why I didn't just Google it before typing this lol, looks like the bulbs support Homekit (awesome!), but not their smart outlet (bummer!). Gonna play with this on my fiance's iPhone later

Is there a way to change the color of these extensions? Why are the colored at all now?

    two questions:

    1) did you use launch to make those icons on your front page? I’m assuming the first three are a speed dial, food tracker, and water tracker. What’s the fourth?

    2) what is the app on the left of Launch?

  16. I did use LCP to make those. It’s a custom shortcut for settings, a menu for quick setting stuff I do frequently.

I don’t use Apple Music but dang Soor is so pretty I would almost switch.

That's probably not going to happen. Apple bought out Dark Sky and its system is already being integrated into the native weather app.

How do you guys have it set up with your significant other? I’d like to set it up so my gf and I are separate accounts but can also share paid apps somehow. Is this possible?
