My least favorite of the three by a fair margin, but still fun.

I've been saying it since they first started playing it a while ago, but it just like, takes the sentimental/twee line that his writing always walks and crosses it into too twee. I enjoy it enough and certainly don't hate it, but it's what would happen if something like "All Your Favorite Bands" missed the mark.

Good way to put it, glad it'll be the opener so it can "move over" for the rest of the album

Livestream was excellent. Mix and sound were great, they played the usual suspects some new too, but lots of energy and Great performances overall

Just getting around to hearing "Didn't Fix Me." Really, really love that one. The little piano melody is so simple but so hauntingly melancholy. Really looking forward to hearing this whole thing.

All about this album so far. It's kind of the nice midway point between All Your Favorite Bands and Stories Don't End, which are my two favorite Dawes albums.

I'll be honest, it took me a few spins of the album to warm up to the opener "Still Feel Like A Kid". I still think it's the weakest song on the album, and I think the band really comes through and helps pull it off, but after several more listens I think it's more a symptom of their other songs all being so damn good as opposed to it being a bad song. These guys are just so consistently phenomenal, and they keep that streak going strong with this album in a big way.

If I have a criticism, it's that I think they released three of the four best songs on the record as singles. But it could just be that I've spent a lot of time with those songs and have really come to love them.

Lee is putting out a solo jazz record. Not sure if he’s on every song but Griffin is on at least the first single

The songs on this album are pretty good, another decent outing. I sort of wish they would go big next time around though, make something really epic. They’ve put out a lot of decent albums the last few years but they’re all blurring together to me, and this one prob will as well.

I think this is probably going to be in my top 3 Dawes and my album of the year. There are at least four songs on here that are all-timers.

And I also think We're All Gonna Die, Passwords, and this are all pretty dramatically different within their discography.

“St. Augustine” and “Didn’t Fix Me” are definitely right up there with my favorite Dawes songs. I like this more than Passwords for sure. Probably about on the level of We’re All Gonna Die for me. My top three is still the 2011-2015 trio though.

Wish they made another Middle Brother album. That version of “Million Dollar Bill” is fantastic.

Not new middle brother but Delta Spirit just put out their first new album in several years.
