The problem is most modern arenas all kinda look the same. While those old grounds all have something unique to them. And that's what makes it way more interesting to visit an older style ground. At least for me.

 

I agree to an extent. But the stadium above is not one I’d want to visit lol

Bruno won our player of the year. You would think that would signal that buying in a couple of more players would be a good idea.

Pitch isn’t great but I would love if teams in Ireland had stadiums like that and could fill them.

 

this properly irks me. My hometown club couldn’t get promoted one year due to having an old stadium that was not big enough. Next year we went into a newer stadium that used to belong to a rival club, and it literally bankrupted us. Ended up dropping two divisions and we’re only just recovering. We’re in the 6th tier now but we play in an even worse stadium than we used to and there’s basically no hope for the team to progress now.

Bundesliga kicks off today. Although I don't expect things to wind up too different this season, I'm still interested in Dortmund's potential for greater long-term consistency. Also interested in the post-Thiago era at Bayern and whether there is anything to the speculation about Schalke getting relegated.

Torreira + 20m euros for Partey seems pretty fair.

I'm sorry but if our midfield ends up being basically Partey, Aouar, and either Xhaka or Ceballos, I will be fully all aboard the hype train.

 

I already have a team I quite like in the MLS, but if I didn't, I think the colour scheme alone would be enough for me to check out Inter Miami. Black & pink is a damn sexy colour scheme.

 

Same here. And their squad may be shaping up a bit more nicely with Matuidi and now Higuain. Doesn't sit too well with me as an Orlando City Fan, though. Hopefully that doesn't pan out for them.
