Did it have you re enter your CVC code repeatedly? I saved my payment info but it kept having me re enter that, and I think it messed it up.

 

Yeah I had to re-enter that then went forward and hit place order. After a couple tries where it said “sold out” it went through.

I mean, let's be real, Sony really hasn't been trying super hard to compete besides their first party games. Their PS Now service isn't great, they can't maintain a good online infrastructure, and they were/have been pretty against crossplay and cross progression.

I love playing on a Sony console because I grew up with it and I like their titles and their controllers, etc, but they do a lot of things that irk me.

My two biggest ones would be: 1. How adamant they were against allowing crossplay in the beginning where even Nintendo beat them to it and pushed for it. 2. How they shot themselves in the foot and abandoned their handhelds.

Maybe a bad example since you can basically play every worthwhile Wii U game on Switch now.

Yeah honestly the crossplay thing is the thing that irks me the most about Sony. I enjoy Xbox’s games more (not a huge single player gamer, Spider-Man is the only PS exclusive that interests me), but their consistent anti-crossplay stance is one of the main reasons I don’t like them. I wanted to play with all of my friends damnit

Target's site is fucked up and you can buy DualSense controllers for $0.99. And my payment went through. I bought two controllers for $8.08 with shipping and taxes or whatever.

 

The last two days are the first time I’ve felt good about not being in the US for launches. I pre ordered a PS5 with no hassle and managed to get an order in for a 3080.

I went for the PS5 as a “just in case” if I couldn’t get a 3080. So I might pass that onto someone that really wants it and pick up the PS5 next year.

 

Chances of that not getting cancelled are slim haha

 

This is 1000% going to get cancelled, but I'm also 1000% buying it as well.
