“We’ve broken so many records,” Mr. Mooney said. “It will be the biggest year of sales volume in Fender history, record days of double-digit growth, e-commerce sales and beginner gear sales. I never would have thought we would be where we are today if you asked me back in March.”

Quite the year for hobbies. Trying to buy a bicycle, or a camp trailer, or pretty much anything fun right now is pretty daunting. Makes sense that guitars are booming.

They picked a good time to release the player series, I picked one up for way less than I anticipated having to pay for a quality product.

You get a telecaster, you get a telecaster, and everyone gets a telecaster!

    Give what you can.

This is 100% due to those killer Fender promos Jim Adkins does on his podcast.

  8. I've been eyeing those JA-90s hard.

Saaaaame. I bought the Chris Shiflett Tele Deluxe off a buddy a couple of years back, but I'm real close to throwing that up on Reverb and snagging the white JA.

    Might be Spider-Man...

The maple neck/any color body Strat is like the default gen z band guitar, Im not surprised by this at all. Go Fender

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Man, the opening paragraphs are torturous to read.

The whole Gibson going bankrupt thing is wildly overplayed. Gibson music company were going bust because they bought a load of companies they then ruined and cost themselves badly. Gibson guitars (which includes Epiphone) were still shifting more guitars than anyone else.

Bought my white JA-90 the third week in March. Not a day goes by that I don't pick it up. It saved my mental health from March-May. Don't hesitate.

Just ordered this CME exclusive a couple weeks ago. Uses the pure vintage pickups instead of the humbuckers the standard line up comes with

    CME Exclusives: Fender Player Jazzmasters
