Finally watched it last night with the wife... I somehow saw the talk show scene in a tweet just the other week but wasn't sure if that was actually part of the movie or not, oops... overall really liked the movie.

 

I came here to post that.

Watched this last night with my brother for the first time. I had no idea this was going to be a movie about mental illness until seeing the shot of Arthur scribbling the words "MENTAL ILLNESS" into his notebook. Great stuff

 

this was down there with the worst movies I saw in the year before Covid hit I think. struggling to think of stuff massively worse

 

as far as the last couple years go, I'd peg this as slightly worse than Venom, slightly better than It Chapter Two. So around Godzilla: King of the Monsters tier

 

I like to think Gotham City was its own character in the film.

 

Reminds me of this amazing whiteboard from A Quiet Place.
