Allan → poop on a stick → Højbjerg.

Classic Spurs tackle by Højbjerg. Pathetic reaction from him. Should be a ban for that.

I know we looked good yesterday but some Arsenal fans, and weirdly some neutrals, seem to genuinely think we will be a force this year. As opposed to Fulham just being so bad that it’s made us look good lol.

  5. I think that’ll happen anytime a big 6 clubs has an impressive win the start the season. Just like everyone will be bashing spurs for the next week because we didn’t look good after one game.

Arsenal did look good though. Every game obviously won’t be that easy but they’ll be fighting for top 4 all year imo.

Why pathetic? It definitely did hurt him too. He was a bit lucky to not get sent off but I actually don't think it was a bad tackle per se. It was a gamble and he obviously lost, but he clearly tried to go for the ball, didn't go in with stretched legs or studs up. He just came that tiny bit too late. If he is first on the ball we would be praising him now.

He was rolling around like he got shot. It definitely didn’t hurt as much as he wanted everyone to think it did.

As someone who had it happen to me in a youth match, I can confirm it REALLY fucking hurts.

  11. Have Everton finally made the right signings? I like that they added players with legit experience. Being able to start all of them in the first match and get great performances from each speaks to that. I’m still not completely sold on their backline but I think everything else is very solid.

5 sent off in stoppage time of PSG/Marseille. Players kicking each other, head butts and a bit of pushing and shoving.

Came here to post that haha. Absolutely nuts.

PSG have lost both league games now. Ligue 2 champions 21/22?

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Who was in here the other week saying they don't understand why people don't like Neymar? :crylaugh:

Edit: Just seem he's claimed to have been racially abused, so the above might age really badly...

Interesting, So basically we've been paying back a ton from our stadium and haven't had any investment from our owners. Basically what I thought.

Kroenke paying off our loan and taking it on personally with smaller payments has been huge though, frees up £21m every year for us.

Spurs huge number is obviously for the stadium, but is Chelsea's just for players?

Weird. I still don't think we will sign him. I've gotten so pessimistic about this summer. I genuinely think we're fucked if we don't sign a top quality right winger.

I wish we had that reason :tear:

  22. Man, losing the first game of the season will really send a fanbase into a meltdown haha

i think it’s more the structure of the team and mourinho’s comments after than the actual result that is stirring people up

Kolasinac possibly going to West Ham "to strengthen their defence" only furthers my belief the owners don't actually watch football, and they will be relegated despite having lots of good attackers. Unless by strengthen, they mean it literally.

Torreira to Torino is about to happen too. 12m this summer, 12m next. Basically got our money back. Which is fine for a player who suffered an injury and was homesick the entire time. Good luck to him, great player.
