Revisiting the Sloppy Boys Ben & Jerry’s episode right now and it’s a classic. They reference the hit song Mitch is supposed to make and that bet was supposed to end around June. Or did he give himself until the end of 2020?

 

They extended it to 2021 at some point I believe?

How is Earth to Ned?

 

I only saw a few minutes of the first episode, but it kind of reminded me of the Elmo show. It's basically a late night talk show hosted by a muppet. Definitely gonna watch more when I get time.

 

Had the honey chicken biscuit thing from Wendys this morning. Wasn't terrible. Was my first time at Wendy's in probably close to a year.

 

Forgot they’ve never actually reviewed Blaze, it was just part of Slice Is Right

 

I like Blaze but I am basing that off of the one in Disney Springs which is right on the water and beautiful

 

I've only had it once but it was solid.

Blaze is decent but I’d almost always rather order from a local pizza shop.

 

I think Blaze is only worth it when they have a deal/coupon where you can get as many toppings as you want. It just feels insubstantial if you get a regular pizza

 

Blaze is good but if you live in an area with easy access to great pizza there's really no need to ever go there.

 

I don’t have a Blaze around here, you don’t get unlimited toppings? We have Mod Pizza here which does give you unlimited toppings, and I assumed all the other quick pizza places were the same.

 

Blaze is a great lunch option but also I haven’t eaten there in three years

 

Honestly in terms of non-Tex-Mex fast casual spots, Cava has been one of my favorite executions of the Chipotle concept. I like that place a lot.

Listening to this episode points out why Blaze fails for me. It’s not the Chipotle of pizza. (At least at my local Blaze) you basically order a pizza as normal and they make it in front of you, that’s it. It’s not walking you down a line of ingredients where you can add whatever you want.

I could be wrong, it just seems like if I really want to make a wild pizza to my specifications it’s going to cost me to the point where I’d rather go to a better pizza place

 

Idk what your blaze is like but my blaze absolutely involves walking down a line of ingredients and picking what you want like at Chipotle

 

yeah mine does too

 

Shit my Blaze is whack. I haven’t been in over a year for that reason, maybe I’ll try it again this weekend
