why the fuck are demos something you get for pre-ordering games now? I'd like to try out Crash before I buy it. Not trying to sink into a game I might end up hating.

I miss when I used to just snatch demo cd's off of magazines at K-Mart.

 

Because if they force you to preorder digitally in order to play the demo, and you're in the United States, you can't get a refund if you wind up not liking the game.

 

I really want Crash 4 to be good and it looks fun but the movement just looks...off. Jumps look real floaty and . I too would like to try before I buy it (also wish it was coming out on Switch at the same time)

I was 100% expecting the Series S to come in at $300, personally. The surprise for me was that the Series X is $500 and not $400.
