Cynical set the bar way too high

 

Well it's pop punk, just about every pop punk band sounds the same.

 

Eh, Kings has a much better chorus imo

 

Not really, there are plenty of bands in the genre that have done creative things, plus my point was that Blink generally has a fairly distinctive sound but those two songs could've been written by any of the current wave bands who aren't very good

 

I am not a fan of "California". Like. At all.

 

No Future is one of the best.

 

My favorite intro track after pathetic and dump weed.

 

same here. it's one of the main things that's kept me from going back to the album. i remember i have to listen to that song in order to listen to the entire album, and it kills my buzz. i need to just burn a version of the album that only has the songs i like, and then let the actual CD sit in its slot on my CD shelf.

most blink albums, i can listen to them on repeat on a drive or something. but by the time i get near the end of this album on just one listen through, i'm pretty ready to put something else in around the time "kings of the weekend" starts.

 

I haven't been in here much but it makes me happy that I agree with you on every point.

 

But the song wouldn't be as good if one of the did it. No Future is awesome, and Mark and Matt sound great on it. I wouldn't want any other band performing that song their voices are too good on it

 

If California was more like this, I think I'd listen to it a lot more:

All this California talk....excuse me while I go do house work with California blasting in my headphones so I look good in the fiancé'S eyes and have an excuse to listen to California. As is front to back since I like the whole cd lol

 

Cynical is my least favorite blink opener, it's not a bad song though. I've tried to really love it, but idk

And Tom is like pidgey. It was cool at first but now you're seeing too much of him.

 

left alone is hands down top 3 on the album.

 

i find myself listening to it a lot. id probably get rid of teenage satellites over kings of the weekend.

Oh fuck didn't realize Derek was opening, just assumed he was drumming. Yaaaas. I didn't really check out his solo thing but I do like his singing voice.

 

Cynical was ruined for me when that fan video showed up of people trying to complete Matt's parts.
