i started it and definitely enjoyed it but it came at a time with too much shit that demanded more attention. might get back to it eventually

 

It was unfortunately cancelled after season 2 so at least there's not a ton to catch up on

 

I just hit play on the first episode. This better be good! :)

Alright, I watched the entire Matrix trilogy all the way through for the first time today (seen the original multiple times, Reloaded once, Revolutions never).

I get the issues people have with the third movie but...Reloaded is a fucking good movie. Certainly not as game changing or influential as the original, but a an absolutely solid action movie.

 

really gotta see the whole trilogy again through brand new eyes given... well you know

 

I’ve been wanting to rewatch them all. I haven’t seen any in probably 10 years.

The problem with Revolutions is just that it’s mostly incredibly boring

 

also the twist of Smith actually being “The One” is actually pretty brilliant tbh

 

Very looking forward to any new Matrix movie.

 

I've still only seen the first Matrix, I guess I'll try to watch the trilogy before the new one even though I haven't heard great things about the latter two

 

I've got my best friend watching it at the moment and he's loving it.

 

I just rewatched The Matrix trilogy (in 4k) a few weeks back and have a whole new perspective on it. Saw Revolutions in the theater on opening night and hated it so much I never rewatched it again until last month. Well, I can see why 19 year old me hated it but 36 year old me definitely enjoyed it and thought it was a fitting end. Different and not what I expected for a finale, but I really did like it after seeing it again 17 years later. I’ve always thought Reloaded is the best and that opinion still holds up...I’m willing to have that “in the defense of” conversation should the moment occur.

 

I still haven’t seen all of the first Matrix

we had the 1st on VHS and the other two on DVD and the VHS player died and sure that was like 2004 but leave me alone i've been very busy

 

I went to see a midnight screening of the first Matrix with my mom and one of her friends back when it first came out. I fell asleep during the trailers. That was the only time I’ve ever sat down to watch it.

I also have a friend who has never eaten a McDonald’s burger. You get to a point in your life after going so long without doing something “normal” where it just becomes your “thing” I guess? Haha.

Someone should make a new thread here where we can all post the normal things we’ve never done/eaten/listened to/watched. That could be fun.
