Where’s everyone stand on Public Enemies?

 

It looked bland and uninteresting. Never saw it but heard that’s pretty accurate.

 

it isn’t good. he’s gone a bit too far up his own ass with the technology of stuff and less on the plot

i still think the ferrari movie could be good.

 

I got drunk last night and thought it’d be fun to watch the new Pauly Shore movie, Guest House. But even drunk me thought it was awful. I only got 1/3 of the way in before I decided to call it a night. Haha

 

must have been real drunk to ever think that would have worked out well

Good not great, seems better in memory than they actually were, etc... that’s my opinion though

 

Jim Carrey is a treasure. Pinkerton is great too.

 

i liked some things about it but i was never as engaged as i hoped to be. and the stuff i enjoyed i’ve seen done better in nearly everything else of his

Jim needs to work with like PTA or the safdie brothers just like Sandler

 

A friend's roommate's girlfriend once banned me from their apartment for making fun of Weezer.

 

You never know how things will turn out, but Jim Carrey may have gotten too weird recently for those Sandler type renaissance performances. He already solidified himself, though, with The Truman Show and Man on the Moon and Eternal Sunshine.

 

Maladroit is their best album.

As for Jim Carrey...I agree with the general consensus on his prime but I do admit I got some laughs out of Bruce Almighty, Fun With Dick and Jane, and Yes Man

 

I still get starstruck every time I walk or drive by the Dumb and Dumber filming locations here in downtown SLC. Haha.
