"California" is sooo much worse than "Rabbit Hole." "Rabbit Hole" is one of my favorites, haha.

 

That didn't stop him from singing Bored to Death! (I only slightly kid)

 

At least Rabbit Hole you can actually jump around to and have a blast to it. Kings Of The Weekend is just boring, hearing 40 something year old dudes singing about being the Kings Of The Weekend is just silly.

 

I'm surprised the unanimous least favorite isn't Teenage Sattelites. Probably because it's so inoffensive people forget about it?

 

the stretch of "kings of the weekend", "teenage satellites" and "left alone" is when i start losing interest in the album.

 

My least favorite song on the record is probably No Future

Teenage Satellite is definitely my least favorite. I always skip over that song.

 

I said a hell of a lot more than "lol no"

 

What?? Title track is a top 5 song easily

 

How can Left Alone possibly lose you?

 

Mark's vocals sound icky poo poo on it. And to me, it just doesn't sound like a Blink song until that last chorus.

 

Kings of the Weekend slightly grew on me after seeing it live but it's still bottom tier. Teenage Sattelites is pretty much the definition of filler and Left Alone is seriously just an okay song and I don't get the praise. Remove that stretch and you have a way better album

 

You're right, I shouldn't have included that one. At least not without some context.

In that stretch, by the time "Left Alone" starts, I'm already on the verge of turning off the CD. If I make it to "Left Alone" I start getting interest back, but that doesn't get me excited as much the first half of the album does. I dunno.

Also, if you're gonna complain about 40 year old dudes singing about the weekend, then you must have a problem with most of the songs on this record. Kinda dumb to cherry pick like that

 

Hey I'm Sorry should have easily replaced Kings or Teenage.

 

Actually I don't have a problem with most of the songs on this album.

 

I mean I can list a lyric from almost every song here that's as bad as stuff on Kings lol, just shows you're being pretty lazy with your criticism of the song

 

I like that this album has no unanimous favorites or hates. I like rabbit hole, no future, kings and half of the other songs listed a lot. TS is my least favorite but I sill like it

 

As cheesy as She's Out Of Her Mind is, I actually dig it because of the context of it and it's just a damn fun song to jump around to and sing along to. Kings has nothing remotely fun about it.

 

I'm still listening to the record fairly regularly but that could have something to do with the fact that my date is on Saturday. I just realized it's been 5 years ago today that I last saw Blink, feels like yesterday....

 

San Diego is an instant classic.

 

Anyway, I'm surprised more people don't see No Future and Rabbit Hole as the clear weak points here, those are the songs that sound like every other blah pop punk band
