I saw literally nothing about this, but I'm proud of them for handling it with grace.

I found out Tyler was friends with CallMeKarizma, so I've had a bad feeling about him for a few months now.

 

Dont know who Callmekarizma is but after seeing the posts about what he did, good on them for doing it quickly. Fuck Tyler Carter

Fuck. This one hurts. Among multiple other reasons, I have very much appreciated Issues for being what I thought was a positive force for LGBT+ people in the scene. Really feeling for young non-straight people that have looked up to him and just lost one of the already very few beacons of representation existing in this corner of rock music. I hope the other members of the band are able to recover whether it’s as Issues or not, and above all that the survivors are brought the peace they deserve in coming forward

Apparently, black people didn't do anything from 2003-2017.

 

The Libertines also have a black member and they headlined in 2015.

But yeah, it’s strange. R&L is a youth festival so it’s strange it has had so few since about 2005/2010, when really black artists have come to dominate youth culture here in the U.K.

I was also convinced Bloc Party had headlines but apparently they subbed twice instead.

 

6ix9ine, Rap’s Newly Freed, Chart-Topping Villain, Admits to Everything

The New York Times published an interview today with 6ix9ine and actually pressed him on the incident with the 13 year old which it doesn’t seem like a lot of other publications have done. Still doesn’t seem like he gets why what he did was wrong, but at least it keeps being brought up and isn’t being swept under the rug.

 

And he shows absolutely no remorse about that a 13 year old was taken advantage of. What a piece of shit.

 

Why is he implying there’s nothing wrong with putting the video on the internet and that anyone would upload a video of them committing murder? And how did he not know she was 13...?

 

I had no idea he physically abused the mother of his child and used the N word in songs. Dude is truly a trash human being. Wow.

 

Can you imagine being the complete moron at the NY Times that thinks this piece of shit should get a platform to distort the truth about what he's done like this
