"Side D contains an animated phenakistoscope etching by Drew Tetz. This is viewable from a camera by placing the disc on the turntable under direct light. Viewable to the naked eye through the use of a strobe."

    Anyone tried this?

Here's a reminder that if you're missing that classic BE sound and haven't heard "The Rockaways" or "No One Changes" yet you are MISSING OUT.

Also this album is pretty good but I still prefer Ruminations.

It's so crazy how Ruminations is one of his best albums and Salutations is one of his worst, despite including mostly the same songs.

Yea it’s really wild. Especially since the Felice Brothers were involved & they’re fantastic too.

yeah Salutations did nothing for me at all but I absolutely love Ruminations

yeah, I will probably never listen to salutations again.

Legit think Ruminations is his worst release, so damn boring. Sure it's lyrically cool, but nothing happens musically. Salutations is too long but at least it makes the songs interesting

both albums are great you fools

  21. both are good but I don't think they're better than any Bright Eyes album including this one (excluding the collection I guess)

i'd rather have salutations and ruminations both more than collection, noise floor, and the last two before this one.

they don't stand up to the classics, sure, but they're still good. and they're better than his other solo albums by a good amount.

  23. excuse me noise floor does not deserve this!!!!

@phaynes12 so much of that statement is ridiculous I don't even know where to start, my jaw is on the floor
