Just saw The Invitation for the first time. Really incredible.

 

I’m gonna try to avoid all Bly Manor trailers like a plague.

 

Is it a direct sequel to The Haunting of Hill House? I still haven't watched it!

 

Different story entirely, though some of the actors have carried over a la American Horror Story. This one's loosely based on "The Turn of the Screw."

I listened to the audiobook after they announced that. Very dry, did not enjoy haha

Good to know, I was thinking about watching. I remember a teacher in middle school raving about, I have no idea how it came up considering it was as old as the kids she was teaching.

 

Watching Demons tonight for the first time. I am so excited

 

For some reason, I thought I remembered most of the Universal Classic Monster Movies streaming on one platform or another, but I'm struggling to find them tonight. Anyone know if any of them are streaming, and does anyone have a lead on a good box set that doesn't cost $150+?

Hadn't seen anyone talking about it, but I saw this for the first time in front of The New Mutants this past weekend. I remember watching the original short film 'Larry', but didn't realize they were this far along on a feature length adaptation.

Here's Larry, for anyone who hadn't seen it.

 

Doesn't look like my kind of thing, but I might watch for Gillian!

 

I definitely don't think it's my kind of thing either. Seems a bit too generic for my liking. I did enjoy the short though, and the trailer reminded me of it for obvious reasons.

 

What a fun movie. Enjoy!
